NoKnock is early, and we're shipping constantly. Here's a running list of the things we've added and improved for homeowners — the registry gets stronger every time a neighbor joins.
NoKnock on your phone
A NoKnock app so you can register an address, adjust your preferences, and report a knock right from your phone — no browser needed.
We’ll ask if someone knocked — a little while after they do
Once the app is out, a scan of the QR code on your sign will start a question for you — but not right away, and never overnight. We’ll wait about fifteen minutes, on purpose: the point of NoKnock is that you’re left alone, and a phone buzzing the instant somebody steps onto your porch is just a different way of bothering you. By the time we ask, they’ll be long gone and it’s a simple question about something that already happened. If nobody knocked, one tap will say so and you’re done. If someone did, tapping through will open a report with the details already filled in — and you’ll be able to turn these off entirely in your notification settings.

Live in an HOA? Your association can cover decals for the whole community
Community associations can now pre-buy weatherproof decals for their residents — the board pays once, and every household that wants one claims theirs free, shipped to their own door. If you live in an HOA or neighborhood association, there’s a note on your dashboard linking to a page written for boards: what it costs, what the board sees (numbers only — never who signed up), and why it beats a rule nobody can enforce. Sending that page to a board member is all it takes to get the conversation started.
Five more badges — and they’re not all about inviting people
Your badge shelf used to count one thing: neighbors who joined through your invite link. Now it also recognises what actually happens on your block. “Door Lit” arrives when a neighbor you invited puts their decal up — an invite that became a marked door. “It Spread” is for when someone you brought invites a neighbor of their own. “Ten Doors” and “Fifty Doors” count every registered home in your ZIP, however they found us, so the neighbor who saw your decal and signed up on their own finally counts for something. And “First Ten” is for the early ones — homes among the first ten to register in their ZIP. Tap any badge to see what it takes, or to share one you’ve earned. As always, badges stay private unless you share them, they never say who joined, and they never unlock protection.
Two people in one home, two logins
If someone else in your house wants their own way in — a spouse, a partner, an adult child — you can now add them instead of sharing your password. On your address card, open “Who has a login for this home,” enter their email, and we’ll send them a link to accept — they can sign in with Google, Apple, or a password, and it doesn’t have to match the address you sent it to. Once they accept, they see the same home you do: the same preferences, the same reports, the same scan history, each from their own login. Editing the street address and deleting the registration stay with whoever registered it. Up to five people per home, and anyone can leave whenever they like.
Share a badge you’ve earned
Tap any badge on your dashboard and it opens up — the ones you’ve earned can be turned into a card you can post to Facebook, a group chat, Instagram, or a Story — with a link back to a page that explains NoKnock and invites whoever sees it to register their own home free. You can save the card as an image too (there’s a tall version sized for Stories), and it has a QR code on it for anyone reading on a laptop, plus the plain noknock.co address for everyone else — a phone can’t scan a code on its own screen. Tapping a badge you haven’t earned yet just shows you what it takes. Nothing is posted unless you press Share, and the card shows the badge and nothing else — never your name, never your address, and never which neighbors joined. Anyone who registers through your card counts toward your next badge, same as your invite link.
